Menu management

Mark an item in or out of stock

Control whether an item can be ordered right now, and whether it's offered for collection and delivery.

Each item has three separate availability switches, so you can take something off sale without deleting it.

The three switches (on the item)

Open an item and find the Availability section:

  • In stock — available to order right now. Turn this off when you’ve sold out.
  • Collection — offered for pickup orders.
  • Delivery — offered for delivery orders.

These are independent — an item can be in stock but, say, collection-only.

Quick toggle from the list

You don’t have to open the item to mark it sold out. On Menu → Items, the Status column has a switch on each row that flips the item in or out of stock instantly. You can also select several rows and change their availability together.

Options, not just items

You can also mark individual modifier options and variants out of stock from the Modifiers and Variants tabs (and from the item’s cards) — handy when, for example, only the Large size has sold out. In the POS, an item’s sheet has Mark out of stock / Back in stock too.

Out-of-stock items stay on the menu but can’t be added to an order until you switch them back in.

One location at a time

Availability is set per location. Menus and items belong to the location selected in the sidebar, so to change stock at a different site, switch to that location first. There’s no single switch that covers all locations at once.
